i came across the mold while searching for pastry molds to make rum babas for my mother-in-law’s 90th birthday. designed by ukrainian pastry chef dinara kasko, it was later brought into the studio and adapted for candles.
cast in pure beeswax, it offers a steady light and the natural scent of honey. the beeswax is colored in small batches with aniline dyes, producing deep, rich hues.
