this pure beeswax candle was cast from a vintage hobnail milk glass bottle found in an antique store in ohio. the raised bubble texture, known as a hobnail pattern, gives the surface a distinctive, tactile quality often seen in antique glass and pottery.
its structured form and repeating bumps catch the light as it burns.
the beeswax is colored in small batches with aniline dyes, producing deep, rich hues that still carry the natural scent of honey.
